Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the standards of conduct and prohibited activities when using Rainbow Network services.

This policy applies to all customers, users, and visitors. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate services for violations.

2. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Sending unsolicited bulk email, phishing email, or forged mail headers.
• Hosting, distributing, or facilitating any illegal content.
• Hosting adult content without prior written approval.
• Launching/participating in DDoS, scanning, unauthorized access, or malware distribution.
• Using IRC services for attack coordination, malware distribution, or illegal activities.
• Running BT/P2P services without authorization or engaging in copyright infringement.
• Excessive use of shared resources affecting other customers.

Spam-related violations may lead to penalties and immediate service termination.

3. Export Control

You agree to comply with applicable export control laws and must not use services for sanctioned regions or restricted end uses.

4. Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for account and service security, including:

• Protecting login credentials.
• Applying timely software and system updates.
• Configuring necessary firewall and security policies.
• Monitoring for abnormal behavior and unauthorized access.

5. Enforcement

For violations, we may take one or more of the following actions:

• Warning notice
• Service suspension
• Traffic blocking
• Service termination (no refund)
• Report to law enforcement
• Legal action for damages

6. Monitoring & Privacy

We do not proactively monitor private communications except when:

• Required by law
• A valid legal process is received
• Needed to protect network and user security
• Needed to investigate suspected violations

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Rainbow Network for losses, claims, and reasonable costs arising from violations of this policy.
